Mission Statement

The St. Mary German Village Athletic Association (SMGVAA) fosters opportunities for students to grow through sports, promoting faith, sportsmanship, and teamwork in a supportive environment. Through leadership, community engagement, and a commitment to excellence, we strive to empower student-athletes to develop character, discipline, and lifelong skills that extend beyond the game.

Athletic Association Overview

The Athletic Association is the backbone of our sports programs and is dedicated to fostering opportunities for students to participate in athletics while ensuring that costs remain affordable through fundraising efforts. Open to all parents and parish members, the Association provides leadership, guidance, and support to maintain a thriving, faith-centered athletic program. Our mission is to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development while strengthening the partnership between parents, coaches, and the school community.

What Does the Athletic Association Do?

The Athletic Association Board is responsible for:

  • Organizing fundraising efforts to maintain and improve athletic facilities.

  • Planning tournaments, events, and community-building activities.

  • Ensuring our athletics align with the values of St. Mary School.

Annual Membership Fee: $100 per family
Covers all children participating in St. Mary sports for the school year.
